ScanTech Warranty Policy

ScanTech Warranty Policy (1200 x 628 px)

ScanTech warrants all new scanner systems and accessories against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of three (3) years from the original invoice date. This warranty applies to products used within their intended design parameters and maintained according to ScanTech’s care guidelines.

In the event of a verified defect, ScanTech will, at its discretion:

  • Repair the product using new or refurbished parts,
  • Replace the product with a new or like-new unit of equal functionality, or
  • Refund the purchase price.

All warranty repairs are covered for ninety (90) days from the date of repair or for the remainder of the original warranty period—whichever is longer.

Warranty Service Process

To request service under warranty, customers must:

  1. Contact ScanTech Support at support@scanndt.com or 903-234-2025 to obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number.
  2. Ship the product to ScanTech’s service center with the RA number (if applicable), clearly marked on the outside of the package.

ScanTech is not responsible for any damage incurred during shipping. Unless otherwise authorized, the customer is responsible for shipping costs both to and from ScanTech. For verified manufacturing defects, ScanTech may choose to cover return shipping.

Exclusions and Limitations

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear, misuse, accidents, or operation outside specified limits.
  • Damage from unauthorized repairs, alterations, or third-party service providers.
  • Improper maintenance, power supply issues, or environmental exposure not consistent with intended use.

Products not manufactured by ScanTech (warranty claims for third-party equipment should be directed to the original manufacturer).
